Happy New Year!

The Staff at Jane Addams has been engaged in dynamic professional development as we have returned from Winter Break. This past week, we spent time reviewing our school-based behavioral and social-emotional data and systems. Students also spent time on Thursday, January 12 engaged in a refresh of our PBIS behavioral expectations. Our school is ready for a positive start to 2023!

A reminder there is no school on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, there is also no school as staff participate in our January Institute Day. We are excited to have more professional learning in math curriculum and strategies. Many thanks to our Jane Addams Structured for Independence Staff who recently ventured out on a Curriculum Based Field Trip together in the community! Students shopped and baked the day away. Field trips provide students authentic experiences and social opportunities.
