After School Tutoring
Special Education and 504 student Parent Informational Session
Dear Boehm Families,
We would like to invite the parents of our Special Education and 504 students to a parent informational session. The purpose of this informational session is to highlight what our Special Education Program looks like at the middle school level. We will also review our 504 services that are provided at the middle school. We will hold this event on Wednesday, December 1st from 6:30-7:30. We will be using Google Meet to hold this virtual event. You can find the specific links listed in our Smore linked below. We ask that parents use their student's PSD login credentials. You can also simply click the link and we can admit you into the meeting. We will highlight our programs, supports, and offer suggestions about working with a middle school learner at home. We have built this event around the feedback we have received from many of our parents. If you are not able to attend we will post a video of the presentation in this newsletter after the event takes place. We hope you can join us during one of these sessions! Stay safe everyone! Health and Safety
We are committed to mitigation efforts that will minimize the spread of COVID-19, specifically the Delta Variant. Our Health and Safety Plan includes the following mitigation efforts pending school board approval on August 19th:
Required mask-wearing for all students and staff.
Required mask-wearing on school buses (as required by the CDC).
Distances of at least three feet or more will be maintained wherever possible.
Notification and modified contact tracing and quarantining will continue. Details will be shared prior to the start of school.
An alternate lunch location in the auditorium will be available to students who request to be spaced six feet away from other students due to health and safety concerns. Parents/guardians should send an email or write a note to Ms. Conn, our Management Assistant, at firstname.lastname@example.org to request this location.
