Panther Choir

On Monday, 10/5, members of the Panther Choir competed in the second round of auditions for the Texas All-State Choir. In order to place in one of Region performing groups, men had to place in the top 15 in their section; women in the top 36. In order to advance to the third Round of Auditions students had to place in the top 15 in their section. This process started with over 120 students in some sections. We are proud to announce that we have more than doubled our success this year in this competition. Please congratulate the following 22 students who placed in the Region Choir and 14 that are advancing to Round 3:

The Panther Volleyball teams had a pretty good week with sweeps by all teams at home vs. Richland on Tuesday and at Haltom on Friday. Way to go Panthers!

Panther Golf

JV Boys & Girls played in the Sky Creek Ranch Stableford Golf Classic Wednesday. Big congratulations to Lauren Salois for earning a 2nd Place Individual medal!

Panther Band

CHHS Band Places 3rd in Class AAA at BOA Arlington Regional!

This past Saturday the Colleyville Heritage Marching Band performed at the Bands of America Arlington Regional, in competition with 31 of the strongest bands in DFW region. Bands from Oklahoma and Austin were also in attendance for this very competitive contest. After a solid Prelims performance the Band was awarded 3rd Place in Class AAA and ahead of many fine local bands including Southlake Carroll, Birdville and Richland. Overall the Band placed 13th and proudly represented CHHS and GCISD in the event. Way to go students for all of your hard work this season!

Panther tennis

Tennis moved into 3rd place in District 7-6A with their 12-7 victory over Richland on Tuesday. This weeks player of the week was sophomore, Jean Nie. Jean won her singles match at the #5 position. Also, Jean was part of a crucial win at mixed doubles that swung the momentum in our direction.
