This newsletter will come to you every Friday afternoon with information and a list of events for the coming week. Any updates or small business items that used to be shared in our staff meetings will be addressed here. Make sure that you sign up for our building PD through the online system. This will ensure that you get clock hours for your time. You can find our courses at this link.


8:20 - 9:30 Classroom/Colleague work time (this can be PLC time)

9:30 - 11:30 Standards work in Media Center

11:30 - 12:30 Lunch on your own

12:30 - 1:30 Standards work & planning for 3 PD days in the Media Center

1:30 - 2:45 Training on The HUB and Google Applications in Multiple Locations

2:45 - 4:00 Classroom/Colleague work time (this can be PLC time)

Specialists may attend intra-district PLC's from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. if you have a scheduled PLC meeting. If not, please stay and work here at HC.

Personal Leave Requests

Starting November 1st all principals will be approving personal leave requests. (In the past building secretaries managed the approvals.) Be sure to submit your leave requests through MyView.

Evening Conferences (Outside of 27th and 29th)

If you are having a conference in the evening, please pencil it onto the engineer's calendar on Jeff's door. This will help Larry know when he can clean your rooms.

Building Reminders

A friendly reminder from our engineering staff . . .

  • No gum in the hallways and cafeteria
  • Please have students brush off bark chips before coming into the school (also have them help pick them up chips off the floor at clean up time)
  • Please do not daisy chain or link your power chords to each other
  • Please put trash and recycling cans by your classroom door at the end of the day
  • Please put chairs up on tables at the end of the day

Note: There is ESC discussion about refrigerators in classrooms. Currently there is no policy or fee associated with having one in your classroom, but there might be a fee established before the end of the year.
