AP Announcement
Students signed up to take AP exams: The bubbling date has been moved from April 8th and 9th to April 15th for students with the last names A-K and 16th for students with the last names L-Z. This is a MANDATORY meeting. Bubbling will start at 1:15 during the last period of each day. Students need to bring a pen, #2 pencil (not mechanical), student ID#, a non-BSD email address, parent education level, and their home address.

From College and Career Center
- During the Month of March and April counselors are dedicating time to meet individually with all 9th grade students.
- Seniors!! Senior Projects are due April 23rd and will be displayed at the Senior Showcase. Projects should be near completion at this point!
- Now is a good time for all students to be working on and updating their Education Plan in CIS. This is one of the items required to earn Career Ed Credit. The Education plan includes all 4 years of high school and 2 years after high school. I must be updated each year!
- April 4th @1pm: ThinkBig Internship Program for CAT Peterson Presentation students interested in a paid Heavy Equipment Technician Internship program. The program is a two year Associates Degree program where students will learn all of the basic systems used on heavy equipment. In addition to leading edge training on heavy equipment, students in the program are given a tool box valued at @10,000 and will also have the opportunity to earn back $9,000 in tuition reimbursement.
- Beaverton School District College Nights:
- March 15th! 9th - 12th Grade! Application for the SAIL Program Opens: this is a FREE one-week summer programs hosted on the University of Oregon campus, where high school students learn about various subjects from distinguished University of Oregon faculty members through fun social and interactive activities. Fills on a first come first serve bases! To apply, students must meet at least one of the following criteria: Come from a low-income family (for example, qualify for Free and Reduced lunch program), Be the first in your family to attend college, Come from an underrepresented minority background, Unaccompanied youth (in state custody, foster care, homeless or not living with family), Returning student, Sibling of a returning student https://sail.uoregon.edu/
- Laverne Fuller Scholarship awarded to a senior female student in the Beaverton School District who plans to attend community college, trade or vocational school. Application requests short answers to questions and 3 teacher references. Paper applications in the CCC after spring break. Due to district office by April 15th 4pm.
- Susie Laughlin Scholarship Due April 26th! awarded to a Westview High School senior. Application requests short answers to questions and a teacher evaluation form. Find paper applications in CCC after spring break.
