Congratulations to the Gananda-Wayne Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving Team for their fantastic season culminating in the Section V Class B Championships on November 20th. The team boasted four Sectionals individual qualifiers: Kyleigh Brooks, Sydney Richards, Natalie Schwandt and Emma Wallace. Special recognition for #Outstanding achievement to our two Section V Top 16 Championships Finalists: Emma Wallace (SR, Wayne) 16th place overall in 200 Freestyle and Sydney Richards (8, Gananda) 13th place overall in 100 Breaststroke. The entire team was able to compete in either individual events or relays. Congrats on a superb 2020 season!

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome:
A disease characterized by profound fatigue, sleep abnormalities, pain, and other symptoms that are made worse by exertion.
Chronic fatigue syndrome occurs more commonly in women. The cause of this condition is unknown, but may include environmental or genetic factors.
The main symptom is fatigue for over six months. The fatigue often worsens with activity, but doesn't improve with rest.
There is no cure or approved treatment for this condition. However, some symptoms can be treated or managed to provide relief.
Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured
Chronic: can last for years or be lifelong
Requires a medical diagnosis
Lab tests or imaging always required
