Dear Crossroads Parents,
Happy November! I am so thankful for such a supportive community. Our parent teacher conferences were very well attended. It was a great opportunity for our teachers to build the school-to-home connection. Our parents and the PTA also stepped up to provide our teachers with dinner and coffee during the two parent teacher conference days. Please know parent teacher conferences are not the only time you can do this. If you ever need anything, please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions you may have.
I’m also thankful for our amazing staff. At our last staff meeting we recognized our Employees of the Quarter. From our support staff we recognized our split-shift custodian, Mr. Dave. Mrs. Gayna Jensen, our Building Instructional Assistant, was also recognized. From our certified staff, we recognized Mrs. Laurie Perkins and Mrs. Lindsey Morrow. We truly do have a staff who cares very much for our students.
Last, but not least, I’m thankful for our amazing students. Each day our students show up to give their all to beat yesterday. Our students work hard to follow the expectations of being caring, respectul, and responsible. One example of this was how well our fifth graders did at camp this year. Our students also push themselves to make sure they focus upon their learning. We all make a great team!
Thank you, thank you, thanks!
