Running 102
Running 102 focuses on extending the 'run' interval and new types of workouts to keep it exciting! Participants should feel comfortable completing 2-3 miles of run/walk between 11-13 minutes per mile. Workouts range from 3-6 miles. Skip 6/17

Running for Fitness
This class leads novice runners on coached 4-7 mile running workouts. Ideal for runners looking to add distance to their workouts and meet new running partners. This class is for runners who feel comfortable running 4-5 miles at a pace of 9-12 min/mile. Please bring water.

NEW! Trail Running
It's time to get dirty! Running workouts will take place on trails around the Madison area. This course is geared for runners comfortable running or run/walking a pace of 9-12 minutes/mile for 3 miles. Should be comfortable on uneven surface and be prepared for the occasional crawling over or under! First class will be at Hoyt. A detailed schedule will be available in June.

NEW! Half Marathon Training
This class is geared for new and new(er) runners who are looking to complete their first half marathon or improve upon their first (second or third) half-marathon time. We will be training for the Madison Half Marathon on November 10th. Participants receive a supported long run on Sundays, modifiable 12 week training program including all running workouts and strength training, email and phone access to your coaches, weekly emails with mid-week workout ideas, motivation and training tips, and workshops to develop your skills. Participants will also receive a t-shirt and a race day fan club! All workouts will begin at 8:00 am, however the length of each workout will vary from 1-2.5 hours. Runners should be comfortable running or run/walking 3 miles at a pace of 13 minutes/mile or faster prior to beginning this program. Locations of training runs will vary. Part of being a runner or loved one of a runner is giving back to the community! We need volunteers to help us with our weekend runs and to volunteer at our aid station at the Madison Half Marathon on November 10th.
