Blue Hills News
From the Desk of the Principal - April 30, 2021
Dear Blue Hills Families,
Many thanks to everyone for making the first two days of our full reopening a success. Thank you for bearing with the changes this year and for your support of Blue Hills.
This week, seniors and their families received a letter with important information for the end of the year. Graduation planning is underway and more information will be out soon. Space will be limited for attendees, and while the ceremony will be slightly different than in years past, we intend to hold it on the athletic field this year. Details on the program, event registration, and procedures will be released as soon as finalized.
Important Spring Sports Reminder:
All athletes for spring sports must sign up on Family ID. Students who have not registered will not be allowed to participate until they have. A physical must also be on file with Nurse Gainey, which can be easily uploaded on Family ID.
The Class of 2021 Awards Night will be a virtual ceremony this year. We will release the video/presentation on May 20 at 6 p.m. Scholarships recipients and award winners will all be honored that night.
Curbside PICKUP for the Chateau Restaurant: Curbside pickup begins on Thursdays and Fridays on 4/8 with a limited menu. Customers can order by calling 781-828-5800 x2420 from 11-12:30. Summer School planning is underway; students who are in danger of failing academic classes for the year may be eligible for summer school. - Do not park or pickup at the front entrance after school. Parents/Guardians picking up after school should pull alongside the front of the gym and cafeteria into the East lot, or find a spot to park and wait.
- Congestion is increasing in the afternoon with athletics and more students in-person; please be patient and thanks for your caution while entering and exiting the campus.
