Dear Furr Families!
This past week was full of amazement and excitement! Our staff is blessed to be a part of such wonderful families! This past week was TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! Thank you for showering our teachers with such kind-hearted and thoughtful gifts. The flowers, the jokes, the songs sung for our teachers, the beautiful scenes from doors and windows and the thoughtful and thankful notes written to our teachers have brought tears of joy, laughter and amazement to our staff! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
To cap the week off, Friday was the first ever At-Home, DIY ...FIELD DAY! Another day to celebrate our students and families! Many of our parents helped our students participate in such an event. FUN was the name of the game and it was had by many students!
We are winding down the school year with 2 weeks left. As the days progress, we will be sending more information to you about how this event will happen. Below, you will find information that will help answer some questions and hopefully bring some clarity on how this will work.

HOW WILL THIS EXCHANGE/DROP-OFF LOOK LIKE AT FURR ELEMENTARY? My teachers and staff will be helping with this, on these days, May 20-22nd. We are asking parents to use the BACK CAR LINE for picking up your child's belongings. Please pull through to the back car-line and stop at a designated cone. Someone will come to your car and get the appropriate information needed from you. DO NOT PARK AND GET OUT OF YOUR CAR. For your safety and ours, please stay in your car. A staff member will come to your car to pick up any items you need to give back to the school and we will also give to you, your students school supplies and belongings. There will be more information concerning these exchange days coming soon.

Even though our schools remain closed for the remainder of 2019-2020, eLearning will continue until the end of this school year. We continue to miss our students and families. I'm very thankful to be able to see our students through Google Hangouts! It solidifies the fact that we are social beings and interaction with others...is very important! That all to say, I MISS EVERYONE!
Please reach out if you need anything at all or if you know of a family in need of any assistance. If you call Furr Elementary, please leave a message and someone will get back with you, shortly.
