Girls on the Run

GOTR begins this week! Practices are Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:30pm. GOTR is a social and emotional wellness program for girls in grades 6-8 that teaches life skills through dynamic, conversation based lessons and running games. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. To register and learn more go to www.girlsontherunhv.org.

Picture Day - 9/22

School Picture Day is September 22nd. Students can order pictures online or by using the order form. Forms will be handed out this week in ELA classes. Any questions email holliday.k@beaconk12.org.

Don't forget your reusable water bottle!

We have water bottle fill stations located all around the building and students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle as traditional water fountains are not available. Plastic water bottles will not be given out in the main office this school year.

PTO Meeting

The first PTO meeting of the school year is on September 15th, on google meet, at 6:30pm. The PTO is an important part of our school community and they do a lot for the student body! Parents can support the PTO by attending meetings and volunteering for events. Join the PTO by signing up on their website: http://www.romboutpto.org/

PTO Spirit Wear & West Point Game

The PTO is selling RMS Spirit Wear now until 9/26. Use the link below to purchase items from the online store. Purchase here: https://myarlingtonink.com/Rombout/shop

The PTO is also looking for volunteers to help us run a concession stand at the West Point football game on Saturday 10/23. You don't have to be a PTO member to volunteer. It runs from 8 am to roughly 4 pm. The donation of your time is greatly appreciated as this FUNdraiser is a great easy way for us to raise funds. Sign up here:
