Reflection Corner: Feast of the Chair of St. Peter the Apostle
Upon this rock, I will build my Church (Matthew 16:18)
On this feastday of the Chair of St. Peter, we are reminded that God’s grace is at work in our weaknesses. Peter was the first one who acknowledged Jesus as the Messiah and Son of God. Peter was a man of great love and loyalty, but he also had his imperfections. He frequently acted recklessly yet Peter also knew that Jesus loved him unconditionally, and his knowledge of this love kept him from giving up. During the final years of his life, he led the Christian community in Rome and gave up his life. Even with his flaws, Peter still fulfilled God’s Mission.
Prayer: Jesus, we want nothing more than to love and follow you. Transform my heart this Lenten season that your will may be done in and through me.

Registration for SY 2016 - 2017
You should receive a letter along with the registration form and tuition agreement from Mr. Burgos shortly after you get this bulletin. Please find below the contents of the said letter:
Dear Parents,
It’s unbelievable! The end of school year is just a few months away. This year is going really fast. It is time to register for school year 2016 – 2017.
I am very pleased to inform you that upon consultation with the Principal Advisory Council and the approval of the Parish Finance Board and our Pastor, Fr. Domingo Orimaco, our registration and tuition fees for the next school year are not going to increase. You got that right. The registration fee which covers but are not limited to clerical costs for student files, certain curriculum materials and books, student insurance and standardized testing materials will still be $450 per child and the annual tuition fee will remain the following:
1 child
$7,075
2 children
$12,560
3 or 4 children
$17,530
It is our commitment to keep our fees as affordable as possible as the parish’s way to help our families. We ask, in turn, for your continued support in our various efforts to increase revenues through school activities and fundraising projects.
Please find attached your personalized registration form and tuition agreement for your review and completion. Completed forms, along with the registration fee of $450, are due to the office no later than March 24th, 2016.
Families who may be experiencing financial challenges may apply for a grant through the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Go online to tads.com, enter our school name, and complete the application. Grants are usually awarded in May. Families enrolling a student into a Catholic School for the first time may apply to the BASIC Fund for a tuition assistance grant. Informational pamphlets are available in the Office.
Should you have questions / concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at principal@olmbulldogs.com or schedule a meeting with me at a convenient time.
Thank you very much. May our Good Lord, through the intercession of Our Lady of Mercy, shower us with His loving mercy and abundant blessings!
Yours in Christ,
Jeffrey T. Burgos
