Reimagine your classroom when you teach the standards at high levels through different means such as discipline literacy, blended learning, and personalization. There will be science offerings as well as general sessions. Earn up to $100 stipend per day! Check with your principal to sign up.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
The goal of UDL is to use a variety of teaching methods to remove any barriers to learning and give all students equal opportunities to succeed. It’s about building in flexibility that can be adjusted for every student’s strengths and needs.
By applying UDL principles, teachers can effectively instruct a diverse group of learners. They do this by building in flexibility in the ways learners can access information and in the ways students can demonstrate their knowledge.

Spruce Run
Interesting Thing to Do!
The Museum of Biological Diversity Open House is the premier outreach event in the College of Arts and Sciences of The Ohio State University. Every year we open our doors to the general public for a day of biodiversity exploration and discovery. During the event you can get a behind-the-scenes view of our world-class collections (insects, mites, plants, fishes, molluscs, birds, mammals, and animal sounds), plus meet the faculty, staff, and students who study the flora and fauna of Ohio and the world. You can also engage in a number of hands-on activities, including our Arthropod Petting Zoo, Seedling Planting, Bugs-in-Goo, the Bug Drawing Station, and more.
