Principal's Message!

Greetings Eagle Families,

Thank you so much for your continued partnership and support as we work to engage our students and provide them with high quality learning experiences! It was wonderful to see so many of you all during Materials Pick Up!

Please know that we appreciate the time, effort, and care you are putting into making sure your child joins their class meetings and completes their independent work each day, and we look forward to the day when we can all be together again.

The date for our Curriculum Night and General Body PTA Meeting is quickly approaching! We look forward to seeing you, and any adults who are supporting your student with remote learning next Thursday, September 17 at 6 pm for our PTA Meeting and at 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm for content meetings with your child's teachers.

During Curriculum Night, our teachers will help you understand what we expect your child to learn, be able to do, and understand over the next few months. They will also answer your questions and share strategies and tools to support your child's learning. We hope you'll join us!

Starting next week, our students will be completing a beginning of the year reading assessment using an online tool called, Istation. It is very important that students complete this assessment independently, so we’ll know how to support them with reading growth this year. If your child is using a personal computer for online learning, it would be very helpful if you could go ahead and download the Istation software for us. Learn more here.

Our Specialists and Instructional Assistants will begin offering socialization opportunities during the week of September 14th. Staff will share more about these opportunities next week! Be on the lookout for more information from your child's Specials teachers or Teacher Assistants.

***We are still enrolling students. If you have not yet registered a kindergartner or if you know of a family, friend, or relative in the area that is not yet registered for school, please send them to us. Homeschool families are encouraged to consider participating in our Virtual Academy! ***

Immunization & Health Assessment Reminder for New Families:

Parents: This is just a reminder that your child's completed Immunization records and NC Health Assessments are due by October 30, 2020.
