The language in Comoros is French and Arabic. The population is about 652,000 and growing at a rate of 2.9 percent. Nearly all Comorians are Sunni Muslims and Islamic traditions play a role in daily life. The personal appearance is dress well in public.
Customs
Greetings in Comoros for men are a simple hand shake at every opportunity. They offer a verbal greeting to women, as touching women is improper. Comorians eat cold leftovers if anything for breakfast along with hot sweet tea. Comorians make informal daily visits to close friends. Members of the same sex often hold hands while walking but members of the opposite sex don't touch in public.
