Tiger Ambush
Stakeholder Edition: January 14, 2024
Principal Principles
On Thursday, January 18th, Demopolis High School will be the host site for the FBI Mobile: Child Safety Training Program. The program is sponsored by the Demopolis Police Department in conjunction with Demopolis City Schools, District Attorney Greg Griggers and the Blackbelt Regional Child Advocacy Center. The program is free to the public; however, is intended for adult audiences only.
The training will provide parents with information on how to keep their children safe from online and physical exploitation. This is a timely topic in today's society. I encourage all parents to attend.
In addition, on Thursday morning, there will be a presentation at Demopolis High School for students. The presenters will discuss internet safety and personal safety while online. This presentation is geared toward the audience of secondary students. We are thankful to the Demopolis Police Department for both of these presentations and for working tirelessly to protect the children of Demopolis.

The assistant principals have met with all students to discuss the dress code. Students and parents should be familiar with the dress code, which is contained in the DCS code of conduct. Of particular note: students should not wear athletic attire (sweatpants, wind suits, etc., with the exception of game days), crop tops, house shoes, or slides. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
