A Message From Our Nurse Blair
We are seeing a big uptick in COVID cases nationwide and locally.
FYI - We have N95 masks available for you and I recommend wearing them daily.
We also have COVID tests for you to keep at home in case you develop symptoms. These tests can also be ordered through the U.S. government at https://www.covid.gov/tests. We also can get covid tests that can be billed to United Health Care. Let me know if you need any assistance.
Got a symptom or two you think is a cold or allergy? Test before you go. That is what they are there for.
Also...
Attention parents of juniors going into their senior year.
By Ohio law, all students going into their senior year of high school must have two doses of meningitis vaccine on file at their school. If their first meningitis shot, was after the age of 16, they are only required to have one.
Get this done soon because healthcare provider offices and clinics fill up soon in August and September. Don't wait!
Shot records can be sent: U.S.mail to Centennial, email to jblair5834@columbus.k12.oh.us, FAX to (614)365-6967
Call Nurse Blair with any questions at (614)365-6611.
