Congrats to CHS Academic Decathlon Team!
This past week Calabasas High School won the Ventura County Academic Decathlon. In the popular Jeopardy-style “Super Quiz” portion of the competition, the Calabasas High School A and B teams tied for first place.
Students from 15 local high schools participated in the competition. The theme of this year’s Academic Decathlon was “In Sickness and in Health: An Exploration of Illness and Wellness.”
This is the fourth year in a row that Calabasas High School has won the Ventura County Academic Decathlon. Calabasas will now advance to the state Academic Decathlon, which will be held in March in Sacramento. The winning California team moves on to the national competition.
Congratulations to Coach Tyler Lee and the entire team. LVUSD is very proud of your accomplishments.
