Alpha Delta Kappa Newsletter
March 2017
Greetings from Lee Anne
It's SPRING y'all! But honestly, my mind and body are really confused about what season it is anymore!
Getting really excited about all that is going on in the next few months. We have our regular March meeting where we are going to learn about taking care of ourselves to avoid stress. In April, we will be having a Sole Hope workshop where we will put our love in action cutting jeans for shoes.
FUN DAY is April 22 down in West Columbia. Our sister, Christine Phillips, has been working so diligently to prepare a great day for all the sisters in South Carolina. This would be a wonderful event for you to go to if you haven't been to a State meeting yet. 'Cause this one is all about fun!
I want to challenge our NEW MEMBERS to come to Fun Day! You will be so impressed, as I was, with how our own sisters do such a fantastic job in State-level leadership. And I know you will be impressed with how well-respected our chapter is around the state!! We have quite a legacy here in Alpha Beta.
Be the light--carry on the legacy of excellence!!
In sisterly love,
Lee Anne

Please keep Martha Bakke in your prayers. She is still dealing with a lot of pain. Here is a message from her: I am still down the street at my sister's house. I have been able to keep food down for the last three days. That is a record for me since Christmas! I am feeling a little better and I do hope to go home soon. I got out yesterday for a while. That is when I really can tell how long it's been. I am so hopeful that this ulcer mess is getting itself under control. Keeping food down, sleeping, and being pain free is the start for me. I hope to be at the March meeting. I've missed so many! Talk to you soon. Martha
