Keeping all homes in mind
In celebrating this theme, Chico Pride feels it's important to keep in mind that not all people have homes that feel safe or supportive, and not all people have homes at all. That's why each of our largest in-person events: our Art Show, our Drive-in Movie, and our Pop-Up Fair & Festival- will help raise awareness and money for programs that help people without homes or who have been taken from their homes. These are the organizations we will be focusing on:

Community Art Show & Sale
Friday, June 4th, 6-9pm: Reception w/ live music, spoken word performances, artisan/craft booths, and a gallery full of local LGBTQ+ art for viewing and sale.
Thurs - Sun, June 3-6, 11am-5pm (During museum open hours): Gallery up at MONCA
Location: MONCA (Museum of Northern California Art), 900 Esplanade.
The gallery will be indoors, and the reception will take place outdoors. Masks are required at this event.
Drive-In Movie with Pre-Show Drag Bingo
Thursday, June 10th.
Doors: 7pm / Drag Bingo: 7:30pm/ Film: 8:30pm
Join us for a game of Drag Bingo hosted by Sacramento King Sir Vix, plus a drive-in movie showing of 'To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar'.

Interfaith LGBTQ+ Spiritual Service
Wednesday, June 17th, 7:00 pm
Featuring representatives/ practices/ music/ etc. from many local Queer and Trans-affirming places of worship and spiritual leaders. Hosted by Chico Interfaith Alliance.

Brunch Meal Kit & Cook-Along Show
Weds-Sun, June 17th -20th: Meal Kits on Sale at Chico Natural Foods Co-Op.
Sunday, June 20th: Cook-Along show premiers online at StonewallChico.com.
Get your kit to make biscuits & mushroom gravy with fruit & mint salad for two, then watch Chefs Simon Ashmore & Danny Blouse prepare their original recipe while cooking along at home.

Drag Storybook Time
Drag stars read aloud childrens’ books about identity, diversity, and kindness - for kids & families. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on, and wear any clothes/costumes/style/ accessories that make you feel strong!

Pride Pop-Up Fair & Festival
Featuring music and drag performances, vendors, food, and fun for everyone!
Location: Outdoors in the Stonewall Chico Lot at Orient & 6th street
Teen Dance Silent Disco
Silent Disco + carnival games, with free food, for teens ages 13-18.
Hosted by Stonewall Chico and Catalyst Domestic Violence Services.

Queer Variety Channel Showcase
A drag, dance, music and comedy extravaganza hosted by Charity Dumpcake de Versailles and Dickie LaRocca, featuring the talent of Scout, Astronaut Ice Cream, J Lau, Kendra Jean, Sir Vix, and more.
