What's Happening at Sutton Elementary
From the Principal's Desk
A big thank you to the PTA for hosting our Fall Festival last Friday! It was a great turnout and it was heart warming to see so many happy young faces! We would also like to thank their sponsors, those who volunteered and the people who made donations!
Annual Title 1 Meeting/Game Night
What is Title 1?
What do we do with our Title 1 funds?
What is the purpose of our Title 1 events?
What curriculum are used at STE and why?
What are parents rights to participate in their child's education?
This will be an awesome event!
5:30-5:50 will be outside games in the dark with glow sticks for everyone!
5:50-6:15 kids will be with adults in various classrooms playing games while parents learn more about Title 1 with Ms. Austin in the music room.
6:15-7:00 Chili feed for all!
Lots of prizes to be won and food for the whole family!

That same afternoon, PTA has arranged for Nancy Moore to bring a great grey owl! Students will learn about this amazing animal in the gym at 1:00.
Picture retake day is October 26, 2018
Celebration!
When students pass all their subtraction levels, they pick 3 prizes.
When they pass all multiplication levels, they earn a t-shirt.
All division facts passed is lunch of choice with the principal!
It does not matter the grade you are in and students will not have to start with addition every year if they have already passed that operation!
