Open House
Parents, Open House will be this Thursday, September 19 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. There will be a brief meeting concerning Title I funding and Accountability. Following the meeting parents will be able to come and go to your student's classes as desired. Students will provide you with a handwritten schedule to follow upon your visit. Teachers should be providing information about coursework, tutorial schedule, teacher conference times and contact information. If you need to schedule a conference please do this for another time. In addition, due to large enrollment and limited space in cafetorium, we encourage student and parents only in attendance.

Miscellaneous Information
Attendance
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) We need your help
We are trying to start a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Bowie. The goal of the PTO would be to increase parental involvement at Bowie. I have had several volunteers already. If you are interested, please let me (Mr. Ellington) or my secretary (Mrs. Pilger) know.
After School Pick Up
Please be sure that you are picking up your students in the front of the building, in the parking lot or circle drive as well as Washington to the east of the building. Please do not pick up your students behind the building on the north side near the tennis courts or athletics.
Air Pods and Expensive Electronic Items
Please encourage your students to keep their Air Pods and other expensive electronic items at home. Not only are they a distraction, but are difficult to replace if lost or stolen.
