Dear Young Parents,

Thank you to Young families for participating in Wednesday's Subway Day. Team Young appreciates your support.

Young students completed their curriculum based assessments (cbms) last week. Cbms help give teachers information about where students are performing at the beginning of the school year. Cbm scores will be posted in eschool home access within the next several weeks.

Progress reports went home with students on Friday afternoon. Progress reports inform parents about their child's academic and behavioral classroom performance at the halfway point in the quarter. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.

Over the course of each school year, Young School recognizes various cultural awareness months. September 15 - October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month. The lmc has a great book display in the library that highlights Hispanic culture. We look forward to sharing information about Hispanic culture.

We look forward to another great week at Young.

Sincerely,

Ms. Morgan
