Jollyville Elementary ~ 2019-2020 School Year

Message from the Principal

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! If you are new to the Jollyville community, welcome! I look forward to working with you and your family over the next 6 years! Please stop by and see me sometime when you're on campus.

I wanted to reach out early to tell you about Kinder Camp 2019! Kinder Camp is a unique class building strategy that we will be using at Jollyville. This year our kindergartners have the opportunity to work with all 4 kinder teachers for the first 2 weeks of school. This year on August 15-23, our four teachers will be team teaching and working together to get to know and support all of our new Jaguars. They will each work in one-on-one, small group and large group settings with all students in order to observe student interactions, conduct first week lessons and administer beginning of the year assessments. This will allow the larger team (teachers, counselors, interventionists, administrators) to make informed decisions about class placement and help us better meet the needs of all students.

Please let me know if you have questions about any aspect of Kinder Camp. I can be reached at 512-428-2200 or at Scott_Morgan@RoundRockisd.org.

We can't wait to meet our newest Jollyville Jaguars!

Sincerely,

Scott Morgan
