Pizza Party
I am looking for a volunteer to pick up the pizzas and deliver them to the classroom by 11:00-11:15.
Also - if you are available to donate drinks (juice boxes); plates, napkins, etc. that would be wonderful. Please email me and let me know what you are willing to donate. THANK YOU!
Field Trip
Signed permission slips are due ASAP.
Our two chaperones were chosen - Mrs. O'Neal and Mrs. Miller. Thank you to ALL of the parents that offered to volunteer!

What's happening this week in Room 512!
Math-
We are continuing in our Measurement unit. This includes measuring to the nearest inch, half inch, and quarter inch. In addition, we will learn units of length, capacity, and weight.
Please encourage studying math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) at home. If you are unsure what facts your child should be studying, please email me. I can also print out flashcards to study at home.
Writing-
We are continuing test writing to better prepare for the ISTEP test starting Monday, February 29.
Reading-
With the shorter week, we will be reviewing this week. We will work on test prep for the ISTEP and IREAD3 test. We will also work on a reader's theater skit, as well as research famous African Americans to celebrate Black History Month.
