CALLING ALL GUARD PARENTS!
The good news is that our first task is EASY! No sewing required! Our goal is to convert every JHS tunic (what they wore for pictures) from long sleeve to sleeveless. (they are HOT during marching season)
All you will need is: fabric scissors, sewing gauge (small ruler), iron, and an ironing board. If you don't have these, that's okay! Come anyway and we will set you up! We will also provide step by step instructions.
Saturday, August 20
Between 9am - 4pm
If everyone pitched in, this task would be taken care of very quickly. Please do not rely on other parents to take care of this task. With that said, we understand personal and work conflicts. Feel free to let us know if you CANNOT be there to assist for any period of time by contacting us at colorguard@johnsonbands.com.
Many hands make light work!
See you there!
Ida and Michelle

During the fall marching season, announcements are sent out via the Band Remind 101. The Class code is @jagbandpts.

GroupMe (Real time communications between parents)
If you haven't already, sign up for the Color Guard (CG) GroupMe. Here is where families can ask all of these questions! It is also a great forum to organize section get-togethers or practices!
Just click THIS LINK on your phone! It is easier to keep track if you download the GroupMe app!
We also invite extended family members (Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents - ESPECIALLY those who volunteer!) to sign up.
It is very difficult for our volunteers to keep up with Facebook exchanges. Therefore, we ask that questions be directed to the GroupMe. Thanks in advance!
Requirement before Volunteering in HaysCISD
We still have the "prospective color guard" website page. You can find that on the website under "I am a..."
