Good afternoon Wildcats,
Welcome to Semester 2, I hope you all had time to rest and recharge over the holidays. Parents, report cards for Quarter 2 and Semester 1 will be available in myStudent on Tuesday 1/11/22. Please make sure you check your student's progress and GPA. If your student needs assistance, please reach out to their teachers, counselors and administrators so we can discuss available supports.

Each student takes six courses per semester. To calculate gpa, you divide quality points/6.
For college admission and scholarships, weighted gpa is sometimes used. Honors courses carry an extra .5 weighting and AP/DE courses carry an extra 1.0 weighting.
National Honors Society (NHS)
The National Honor Society is currently accepting applications for this school year; members who qualify have been emailed an application invitation in their gmail in Office 365 on their myPascoconnect dashboard. All applications are due to Mrs. Salter by Friday, January 28th.
Informational meetings for those interested will be held on Friday, January 7th or Monday, January 10th right after school(interested students only need to attend one meeting). Please contact Mrs. Salter with any questions at jsalter@pasco.k12.fl.us

If you are interested in purchasing a Senior Ad for the 2022 yearbook, sales will end on January 31st OR UNTIL WE RUN OUT OF AD SPACE! We still have full page, half page, 1/4 page and 1/8 page ads available, and you can either design it yourself or have the yearbook sponsor design it for you. Advertising Opportunity for Local Businesses
District School Board of Pasco County Intent to Advertise
Need more customers? Advertise with WCHS! Each year thousands of people come to events on our campus and see advertisements for local businesses. This is an opportunity to get affordable advertising and help out the students of WCHS.
Banners are printed by the school using your artwork with several options:
4 x 4 full color vinyl banner will be displayed in the Gymnasium.
4 x 10 full color vinyl banner will be displayed outdoors on the fence of the field you chose.
The cost for a one year banner in the gym $400.00.
The cost of a banner on one outdoor facility is $500.00.
The cost of one year of advertising on the football/soccer/lacrosse, baseball, and softball field (3 banners) is $800.00.
The cost of all facilitites both indoor and outdoor banner (4 banners) is $1,000.00.
There term of the advertisement is one full year.
