Welcome Students!
Mrs. Chun- Enlightium Academy- 2023/2024 School Year
Get to Know Your Teacher!
- I teach Elementary English, Bible, and History classes. I am passionate about teaching Elementary students, helping them learn, grow, and develop a personal faith in Jesus Christ!
- I am originally from Minnesota but have been living in Spokane, Washington for the past seven years after attending college here at Moody Bible Institute. I met my husband at Moody, and we have been married for five years. We have a two-year-old Springer Doodle named Theo.
- Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, photography, reading, music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Please bookmark or save a copy of this welcome letter for easy access to the resources and my contact information for the future. :)

- Group Tutoring- Optional group tutoring live lessons will be held twice a week for all students in the Silver +, Gold, and Diamond support levels. These meetings will be on Tuesdays for Math and Science, and on Thursdays for English, Bible, and History.
- Here is a link with more information about the group tutoring sessions and what students can expect.
- One-on-one tutoring- Students may either reach out through an Ignitia message to set up a time to meet, or they may use my Calendly link to set up a time. These sessions are usually about 30 min long and are done through Zoom.
- For Diamond students, tutoring is unlimited, dependent on teacher availability.
- Students should be prepared before joining the tutoring session and have an idea of what they would like to work on.
- If you need to cancel a meeting, please let your teacher know in an Ignitia message or cancel in Calendly.
- Friday Tutoring Hour- Every Friday from 10-11 am (Pacific Standard Time) I will host an open Zoom session as "Office Hours" for any student to join.
- This time can be used for students to ask questions about assignments or projects that they are working on.
- An Ignitia message will be sent with this link every Friday.
Absence Policy
If your student is planning on being absent, we ask that your student works ahead on their due dates in Ignitia or catches up on work once they return.
If your student is going to be absent for more than 3 days, you can submit this absence form so that the Progress Department is aware of your situation. We still ask that your student works ahead or catches up after any absences.
Please feel free to email progress@enlightiumacademy.com if you have any questions.
