October 2020 Newsletter
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, celebrating Halloween will look much different this year at the elementary buildings. In order to maintain a safe environment for everyone, the following restrictions will be taking place this year:
Costumes will not be worn at school and there will not be any type of parade.
Visitors will unfortunately not be allowed to be in the building.
Snacks cannot be brought to school to be passed out to others. This includes pre-packaged foods. *Students will be receiving a Halloween treat as part of the school lunch on October 30.
Halloween-themed activities, resources, etc. will still be encouraged to celebrate this holiday and we will try to be creative during the school day. We appreciate everyone’s support in keeping our students, staff and community healthy!

Daily Joy Videos
We love these videos because it help keeps our spirits up, shares a more personal side of the various people in our building, and is a great conversation starter! In the case of Miss Mildred, students were so interested in her story they wrote her letters and brought some more joy to her life!
We hope to share more of these videos and stories as the year goes on.
