The hours completed during Jump Start will be counted towards the 30 intervention hours required by HB 4545 for students that did not meet the state standard on the STAAR test.
Letters were mailed home a few weeks ago for any students that met the criteria for the Jump Start program. If you feel like you should have received a letter and did not, please contact us at 936-396-3111.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress authorized spending that allowed schools to serve free meals for all students. Those funds are not authorized to continue for the 2022-2023 school year.
As a result, Normangee ISD must return to charging for school meals and offering free and reduced-price meals based on student eligibility.
Families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals, which is https://www.mealappnow.com/hisnor/splash.php Please complete the form online. You may also use this link to sign up for Lunch Money Now in order to have accounts set up for student lunches.
