Swishes For Wishes Night Benefits Make-A-Wish Foundation; Luca Has Wish Granted

Friday night was a very special night at Francis Howell. The Howell Make-A-Wish Club held the 1st Annual Swishes For Wishes Night to benefit the Make-A-WIsh Foundation. The night included several activities that helped raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes for children in need. Over $1300 was raised during the evenings events. The night was capped off with the boys and girls basketball team presenting 8 year old Luca with a signed basketball. Luca is currently battling lymphoma. Following the basketball presentation, Luca was granted his wish by members of the Howell Make-A-Wish Club and the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. Luca's wish was to go to Legoland. Thank you to the Make-A-Wish Club and to all that attended the game and helped to make Luca's wish possible. It was truly a great night to be a Viking!
