Dear Raleigh Hills Community,
I want to thank you for your engagement with the work we are sending out for students. We miss them so much and love seeing when they are able to pop into Zoom meetings. I hope you are able to watch the "assemblies" with your students on Fridays as well. Having those common experiences makes us feel more connected as a school.
In the spirit of staying connected, I'd like to invite you to a Zoom meeting for parents on Thursday, April 30th at 7pm. (I know the video says Wednesday, but it will be Thursday). This is just to get together as a community and to stay connected. I can answer questions and we can commiserate about our new part-time jobs as educators:) Hope you can make it.
Finally, we have made a plan for you to be able to pick up your students' belongings from the school. We will have pick up at the following days and times based on student's last name:
May 8 10-2 A-M
May 15 10-2 M-Z
Please use the lower lot for pick up. You will drive up and tell us who you're picking up for. A staff member will bring your student's things and set them on a table and back away. Then you can jump out and get your student's belongings and take them home. We will not be able to return any unlabeled items. If we're not sure who it belongs to, we will store it here. When school opens up again, we will have a day for families to come and claim unlabeled items.
Hang in there! We'll get through this together.
Warm regards,
Jennifer

Donate to BSD Community Resources Fund
The Beaverton School District is now accepting donations from the greater Beaverton community to support community-wide efforts to provide food boxes, toiletries and other essential items to our families during this emergency situation. Food Banks are working hard to remain stocked to feed communities. There are many Beaverton families who struggle economically even in the best of times, and this fund will enable the Beaverton School District to work with community partners to serve our families. We use this fund to triple the buying power and thus increase the amount of families we can serve, a number that increases daily. Pass this on to friends and neighbors (we can also honor matching dollars!)
