Holiday Party
The 2nd Grade classroom holiday parties will be Thursday, December 17 from 12:00-1:00.
If you haven't already, please send a 100 piece puzzle wrapped as soon as possible for our puzzle exchange on Friday, December 18. On the outside, it should read "To: A Boy/Girl From: Your Child's Name."

Hour of Code
This week we participated in the Hour of Code initiative. Because statistics shows that there will be 1.4 million more computer science jobs by 2020, we find it important to expose students to coding. Here are some pictures from us practicing coding in MinecraftEdu. They had a blast!

Spelling Bee Pre-Test
The pre-test for our school Spelling Bee will be held on December 15. Any child who receives a qualifying score may participate in the Glenhope Spelling Bee. This will be held on January 22. Please talk with you child to encourage them to participate if you'd like them to.
Glenhope Giving Tree
Glenhope’s Giving Tree for GRACE will be set up in the main hallway beginning Friday, November 20th! If you would like to help a family in need, please choose an ornament from the tree, and return the unwrapped item by Wednesday, December 16th.
