Greetings Parents,

We are excited to debut our reading campaign, "Reading Is Our Superhero." I hope you will help us help your child by reading at home with your child for a minimum of 20 minutes per night. Students are asked to log the number of minutes they read each night for a prize at the end of each month.

Please keep reading to find out what is going on in and around Benefield.

Proud to be your principal,

Mrs. Stevens

Reading on the go reminder

You can be reading with your children even when you’re on the go!

· Have them read billboards, signs, and logos.

· Read cereal boxes or labels at the grocery store.

· Borrow audio books from the public library and listen in the car.

· Read electronic books in the car; both Benefield and the public library have many to choose from.
