Clouds in our Atomsphere

Small Summary
Clouds are in our atmosphere. The clouds are mainly in Earths Troposphere. The clouds can range from low 0-2 km, middle 2-7 km, and high is 7 km.
Cirrus Clouds
There is only one type of the Cirrus cloud. Cirrus clouds are made of ice and they are really high up. Cirrus means curl and High. Cirrus Clouds are high level clouds so that means 7 Km up in our Troposphere. Cirrus clouds are wispy, white clouds. These clouds are blown by strong westerly winds aloft into streamers know as ''mare tails''. These clouds generally move from west to east across the sky.
Cumulus Clouds
Cumulus clouds are fair weather clouds, white, puffy ,and look like floating cotton balls. Also the base is flat but the top is rounded, no rain or snow. Cumulus clouds they are low level clouds they range from 1-2 miles .
Stratus Clouds
Stratus clouds are a grayish color, they are they lowest of the low clouds. They are at a very low level, they often carry a light mist or drizzle and they cover the inter sky like a blanket or a sheet.
Cumulonimbus Cloud
Cumulonimbus clouds do not cover the sky, they have a flat bottom and anvil shape top. This cloud starts out as a cumulus cloud and begins to tower and tower and can go up to 22 km. You have to have a cumulonimbus cloud to have a tornado.
Alto Cumulus Cloud
Alto Cumulus clouds are fair weather clouds, they are far away and hard to see. They take on the appearance of a cumulus cloud and usually ranges from 2-7 km. Also Mid level cloud means Alto.
CirroCumulus Cloud
Cirrocumulus clouds are fair weather clouds. Cirro means high high level clouds and they usually are 7 km up in the sky.
Alto Stratus Cloud
Alto Stratus is the same quality's as a stratus cloud. Alto means mid level cloud and this cloud ranges from 2-7 km.
Cirro Stratus cloud
Stratus means cover the sky. Cirro means high level cloud . This type of cloud is very pretty to look at. This cloud is 7 km high in the sky.
Nibo Stratus Cloud
NiboStratus covers the sky, dark gray clouds, low rain cloud and wet looking. Nibo means rain and precipitation is produced most of the time . Below 0 degrees you will have snow or freezing rain. Above 32 degrees and you will have rain.
