CTE Update
At each monthly school board meeting a different CTE program is featured. Teachers nominate students to receive Student of the Month awards. Parents of students receiving the awards receive a written invitation to the meeting along with the nomination form provided by the teacher. This is an opportunity for younger students to be recognized for their potential as leaders and for more experienced CTE students to receive public recognition for their efforts.
CTE Students from both campuses attended the Biz Outlook Luncheon put on by the Chamber of Commerce on September 16. The students served as representatives of the Future Voices program with Mr. Chuck Wright and CTE Director, Lisa Miller. In attendance were Nick Tuscano, Gus Huber, Ella Barth, and Hannah Hartman. Students spent time networking with various attendees and enjoyed the presentation given by Steven David, VP of Operations at Lucid Motors on the expansion and successes of
the company.
