A belief in innovation to maximize learning for students
Sharing our school story....
One of my main goals as a principal is to tell the story of our school. By allowing the doors of each classroom to open for community members to get an inside perspective on all the positive learning that takes place day to day.

About me... 5 Quick Things
I believe learning enhances life. I am an avid reader of all kinds of books. My favorite story is "Where the Red Fern Grows." On my bedside table you will always find a Star Wars book to read just before I head off to sleep. My favorite books to read out loud are books that are really funny such as Mo Willems, "That is not a Good Idea." I always read books that help me become a better teacher and love to learn and share with others.
I enjoy telling stories to the kids and love to hear about their travels and adventures.
My wife thinks I have a sixth sense to be able to spot wildlife as I am driving. (bears, beavers, bobcats, deer and moose)
My favorite app on my iPad is Aurasma. I love the suspense it allows me to create.
I have taught all grades from k-6 at different times in my life and spent 12 years teaching ELA in grade 6.
