What is it?
Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder in which a child is born with 47 chromosomes instead of the usual 46.
Prevention
There is not a way to prevent down syndrome, nor has a cure been found yet.

Management
There are many difficulties while managing children and adults with DS (Down Syndrome), such as attention problems, stubbornness and obsessive compulsive behavior. Ways to manage that are work with a professional a psychiatrist , counselor, or behavioral pediatrician. These problems can also be managed by confronting he child as well.

Why Did I Choose This Topic
I chose this topic because I just love to bee around people and kids with special needs not wanting to sound crucial or anything but its the truth. Ive always been interested in this disease so u thought it would be the perfect time to research and get to know more about it.
