Career Day
Encouraging students to explore careers they are interested in is a key way to demonstrate the relevance of a college degree. A Career Fair held on March 4, 2016, brought awareness about the importance of college, connected students with many different professions and gave community members a chance to share their expertise with students. East Lee students were excited to meet with local businesses and community members at set up tables/booths in the gym and classroom presentations to talk to students who are interested in their field or program. Speakers stressed the importance of college and the kinds of jobs they might be interested in. East Lee Middle Schools staff and students would like to send a BIG thank you to everyone that made this day possible.
Hoops for Heart
On March 11th, students will be able to participate in any or all of the events for Hoops for Heart which includes a 3-point shooting contest, half court shot, dribble tag, knockout, pie in the face game, and student vs. staff game. Our goal is to raise $1500.00.
