This Week's OSP (Online Subscription Package) SPOTLIGHT: Reading Eggs and Mathseeds
The 2019-2020 Online Subscription Package (OSP) options are finalized, and we’re spotlighting every option - every week!
This week we spotlight Reading Eggs and Mathseeds!
"Reading Eggs makes learning to read interesting and engaging for kids, with great online reading games and activities."
"Mathseeds teaches kids aged 3-9 the core math and problem-solving skills needed to be successful at school with fun, highly interactive and rewarding lessons."
About Reading Eggs/MathSeeds through the OSP:
- Students will receive access to both the Reading Eggs and MathSeeds programs
- Makes learning fun for students as it is set up like a game. They go through a map to complete lessons and activities
- They receive incentives in the game to get reward items in the game
- They can create their own avatar (online character) that they can customize
- Makes learning fun for students as it is set up like a game. They go through a map to complete lessons and activities
- Mobile access: Reading Eggs and MathSeeds is available on both computers as well as Apple and Andriod devices
FAQ
Q: What kind of access will I have under Reading Eggs/MathSeeds?
A: Your student will receive a student account, and you will be able to set up a parent account to view and monitor their progress. We will send information on setting up the parent account once the student account(s) have been created.
Q: I had Reading Eggs/MathSeeds as part of last year's OSP, will my student's account information be transferred over if I opt-in again?
A: We are currently working on a way to roll over the accounts from the 2018-2019 OSP to the 2019-2020 OSP. We may be able to give the parents access as a teacher; if this is the case, we will not be able to roll the progress over, but parents will have access to change the lesson level for their student(s).
Q: Does access to Reading Eggs also include access to Reading Eggspress?
A: Yes, you will also have access to Reading Eggspress if you opt into Reading Eggs/MathSeeds.
For more details on this OSP option and all the other OSP subscriptions, head over to the OSP Handbook.

Hi everyone! I am a mom of 3 awesome kids ranging in age from 11 to 7 years old. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 16 years. Having homeschooled our children over the last 7 years in 3 different states, I've found homeschooling here in California, especially with Inspire Charter, has been a great fit for our homeschool journey. I am grateful for our ability to homeschool so freely and I aspire to assist other families with their own homeschool adventures!
We want to hear from you!
What do you want to hear more about? Drop us an email!
We'd love to answer all of your questions in regards to homeschooling with Inspire
and what the homeschool lifestyle looks like!
