Thanks to the collaboration of PTO and Staton Administration, we will be able to reopen playgrounds starting Monday at recess! When students arrive in the mornings, they will still go directly to class where the teachers will be waiting with activities. During the day, teachers will take their classes out to play for recess at a designated time. During this recess time, they can play on the playground structures or they can play with the new equipment donated by our AMAZING PTO! Equipment and playground structures will be sanitized after each class. Students will wash and sanitize hands before and after recess. While masks will not be required in the designated play areas, with encouraged proper social distancing, masks WILL be required on the play structures. We are super excited to have these playgrounds open again, safely!

Bring your best smile, it's picture day!

Volunteer training will be required for all parent volunteers. We are offering trainings at 4 different times on 2 different days. Choose the session that works best for your schedule. All volunteers are required to take the training. The trainings will be offered at the following times:

Wednesday, September 1

  • 9AM
  • 2:15PM

Friday, September 3

  • 9AM
  • 2:15PM

*Volunteers that come on a regular basis, 4 times or more per month, are required to have a district issued badge. If you are volunteering for the school and will have NO contact with students, a badge is not required. This will all be discussed in detail at the training.

Safety First!

Just a reminder, at the top Kiss-n-go, please, for the safety of our students and families, make sure to stay on the sidewalk when walking to cars. We ask that you DO NOT cross the kiss-n-go lane at any point. Please take the few extra steps and follow the sidewalk around on both ends before crossing over to Falling Leaves to get to your parked cars. This is for everyone's safety.

Save the Date!
