Message from the Principal
Hello Wildcats-
We had a busy week here at CFT. 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students continued on state testing, our community partners-The Lions Club- helped screen students for vision needs, we had a lockdown drill (the kids did GREAT) and our 5th graders started the transition to Fowler by getting choir, band and theater presentations. It was awesome.
Next week is a five day week without any major student events. However, on Wednesday it is Administrative Professionals Day. This is a time to celebrate our AMAZING front office staff. If/when you see Tammie Mandujano, Danielle Dover and Stephanie Leeper- please show them some love!
Also, please mark your calendars for May 4th, when CFT will participate in Tigard's "Walk and Roll to School" event. There will be a couple of places near school where students can be dropped off in the morning and join a "walking school bus" led by CFT staff members. Kids who participate will get a prize and if we get the biggest turnout, we'll win Tigard's Golden Shoe. Big time stuff ;)
Have a great weekend and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Mr. Blasquez/ Mr. B, Principal
Mensaje del director
Hola Wildcats-
Gracias.
Sr. Blasquez/ Sr. B, Director

TUTORING OFFERED THROUGH WASHINGTON COUNTY COLLABORATIVE LIBRARY SERVICE
Our very own Washington County Collaborative Library Service provides free access to live virtual tutoring through Brainfuse for students and live virtual support for parents and primary caregivers on how to support their child’s educational success. Available in both English and Spanish. All you need is a library card to access Brainfuse and live virtual tutoring is FREE! Once you click on the gateway you move through the specific age grade tabs. If technology is a barrier libraries also have tablets and hotspots available to checkout. Here are the two direct link tabs you will be looking for but there is much more including a writing specific portal where you can upload student writing and they can receive live virtual tutoring, learning and support. PTWC highlights this resource on our webpage here - https://parentingtogetherwc.org/for-parents/your-developing-child/.
