Dear Colleagues
As you read this, I hope you are finding the PD sessions helpful to you as we continue our journey of distance learning. Thank you to all of the coaches, teachers and supervisors who helped put this day of learning together for us.
As Nancy Thul mentioned in her email to staff last week, please use Monday, May 4th as a day that will help you continue to plan for distance learning. The modules in Canvas are a wonderful resource. The high school will not have a staff meeting on this day. You may also delete the staff meeting on Wednesday morning/afternoon on May 6th. I will continue with video announcements as needed and visits to academy team meetings. As always, if you ever need me for anything, simply shoot me an email or drop me a Google Meet invite anytime.
As you know, the governor extended the stay at home order for at least another two weeks so we continue down our current path. Please continue to limit building use as this helps the custodians in their work. We are finalizing plans for students to return to pick up personal belongings and to take care of other housekeeping items and will keep you in the loop on that as well.
That is all for now. Looks like an absolutely fantastic weekend so please be sure to enjoy it. Thank you for the care, compassion, and understanding you are showing all of our students during this challenging time. Although they may not say it, your support means the world to them.
Take care!
Jeff

New Sharing Dialog in Google Drive
These changes highlight essential tasks like sharing a file, changing permissions, and viewing file access. Sharing with people and groups is visually separate from link-sharing so it's easier to copy a link or quickly audit and change permissions. Read more in the GSuite Blog.
