What a wonderful week we have had! Thank you to all who attended our Book Fair, Grits for Grands, and Bring Your Parent to PE Week! We totally enjoyed our time with you! The grandparents, parents, and family joining us for breakfast and the Book Fair just warms your heart as our young Mustangs host this event. As promised, parents were sweating and I have even heard several say they were sore! Love it! Books, company, and working out! Can't ask for a better week!!
Start polishing those smiles! Student Fall Pictures are on Thursday, October 4. Precious memories are savored through browsing school pictures!
Please make note that there is NO school for students on Friday, October 12. Teachers are and will be scheduling parent conferences for the evening of Thursday, Oct. 11, and the morning of Friday, Oct. 12. Please note that teachers are not able to meet with every parent during this Thursday and Friday time so there will be additional times for conferences. Also, always remember that if you have questions, worries, or celebrations to contact your child's teacher immediately via phone, email or ask for a conference. We are here to work with you in bringing success to your child.

PE:
Midway's 2nd Annual Take Your Parent to PE Week was a huge success!
2nd Annual Take your Parent to PE Week was an awesome event at Midway for our students, parents and teachers. We had a great time watching our students teach their parents some of the fitness stations and beach volleyball was taken to a whole new level. Our k-2 did and awesome job helping their parents with our Tabatas and cleaning their yard.
Thank you parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brother and sisters for coming out and supporting our physical education program. We had 580 adults work out with us this week. We downloaded pictures to the link below. We had lots of fun!!! Stay active!!!

We Are So Excited
to
Have Male Mentors
We have a group of men that are willing to come once a week and read, help with projects, throw the football, shoot hoops, have lunch, play board games, etc. with our male students. Several of these programs exist throughout the district and other neighboring districts and are very successful.
If you are interested complete the information below and return to school. For more information you can contact Mrs. Gray, one of our school counselors. We are excited and can’t wait to watch these amazing relationships form.
