Growth Mindset in Math 2016

Presented by: Life School and Region 10

Math Stations in Action Presented by Region 10

Math stations are part of a balanced math program. It gives students an opportunity to work on math individually, with partners, and in small groups. They can be used as an effective practice for differentiating and enhancing mathematics instruction to meet the needs of all students. During the training participants will learn how to organize and structure the math block, group students, experience math stations with learning activities to support target skills and concepts, and engage in small group lessons that are grade level specific. There will be K-2 and 3-6 sessions offered.

Math is Life Edcamp

Edcamp is the un-conference model of professional development. There are no pre-planned sessions and are determined entirely by the participants. Math is Life Edcamp sessions are discussion-based and very participant center rather than presenter based. Participants are encouraged to fill the session board with math related topics they would like to learn more about or would like to share with others. Please visit for more information. There will be K-2 and 3-6 sessions offered.
