March Issue
Face Mask Protocol Update
Masks are one of the many protective measures (desk shields, hand washing, sanitization of classrooms and buses, distancing, etc.) in place that have allowed us to keep our schools open, ensure student and staff safety, and continue academic and extracurricular activities. These protective measures are all taken into consideration when an individual tests positive for COVID-19 to determine who are identified as close contacts and must quarantine during the contact tracing process. Removal of any of our measures (such as masks) would result in more students and staff quarantined.
CFISD will continue its health and hygiene practices in the LEAD Safely plan, including the requirement of masks for all students, staff, and visitors.

For the month of March we will be celebrating Women's History Month which is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
