From the Principal: Please Be Safe
Here are some safety expectations:
Student Drop Off Lane: Parents using this area must drop their child off along the curb. This area is a single lane wide so that parents can stop along the curb and then pull forward when exiting. Students should only exit the car on the passenger side. Parents using this area should always drive as far forward in the lane as possible before stopping. When picking students up in this area, parents SHOULD NOT double park NOR leave the car unattended. Students should, again, only enter the car on the passenger side from the curb. There is to be NO PARKING in the drop off lane as it is an emergency vehicle access lane.
Other considerations include:
Remain patient and courteous;
Use your turn signal;
Stay off of any devices;
Pull all the way forward;
Drop off no earlier than 7:50;
And remain patient and courteous (yes, it’s worth saying twice).

Meadow Point can really thrive when parents and guardians in the community get involved.
Teachers sometimes need help in the class as well as cutting and sorting papers for classroom projects. We have many functions throughout the year where an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference, for instance our school carnival, fun run, field day, school dances etc.
Our PTCO is also a great way to get involved. The meetings are usually one hour once or twice a month you can sit in and listen to what is going on in the Meadow Point school community and give us your feedback.
