A1 Turtles Update
Week 15 - December 4th
We continued to learn about Traditions and winter holidays. The kids have had lots of fun starting some of our winter projects. It is an exciting time of year. Please continue to encourage your kids to practice their math facts. They can make flash cards, play games with numbers or enjoy a math app. I have included the link about our current math topic. If you have a holiday tradition that you would like to share with the class, please let me know. Thank you so much for all of your support in and out of the classroom. Have a wonderful weekend with your family!
Polar Express Party
This week's homework will include; spelling practice, Topic 1.30 homework, and a Social Studies activity about Traditions. Please have them bring their blue homework bag with their completed homework on Friday each week. It is very important to help your child learn how to be responsible with their homework and be on time.
This week we will hear about a family tradition. Please encourage your child to practice before they present. Their day is written on their folder. As I talked about on Back to School night, the kids need to be ready to present on their assigned day. If they are sick, they can present when they return. This is a great opportunity for them to gain confidence speaking in front of their peers.
