Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES Families! I am looking for a group of 3rd grade students to be in our Project Vinátta Kindness Coalition! Vinátta is the Viking term for friendship, and this group will help me plan and implement our three campus-wide No Place for Hate Activities for the school year. Our coalition should be students who are interested in promoting a positive, respectful, hate-free, bully-free environment for our school. Coalition students will bring their lunch and meet with me in my classroom during their lunch time on Fridays approximately twice a month. Some months may require more meetings if we are practicing for an assembly or about to launch a campus activity. Students should be committed to attending all Project Vinátta meetings and contributing as a productive member of our coalition. If students are interested in applying to be part of the coalition they may pick up an application from Mrs. Sexton in the counselor’s office. Applications should be turned in by Tuesday, September 10th, and students will be notified by September 20th if they are selected for the Project Vinátta Kindness Coalition. Thank you all for your support of this worthwhile endeavor! ~ Amy Sexton
