About Steamboats
~ John Fitch invented the steamboat in the early 1790's
~ Robert Fulton made the first successful trip

~ Can travel in low water
Disadvantages:
~ Very dangerous

~ Robert Fulton, inaugurated the first commercial steamboat service in the world
~ John Fitch, made the first successful trial of a forty-five-foot steamboat on the Delaware river.
